Ratna Dahal is a field senior supervisor at IDA. He has completed Masters Degree in Humanities and social science from Tribhuvan University in 2000. He has been working in research sector since 2001. During this period he has worked for various market research, social research and opinion polls in different organizations. He has worked as assistant researcher for qualitative research - FGD (focus group discussion) conducted by IDA. As a field senior supervisor, he has worked in various projects like Malaria Trac survey, National Baseline Survey on Peace and Security Provision and numerous opinion polls on political situation in Nepal.
Shuvechha is working at IDA as a researcher. She completed her Masters in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) in 2012. She had previously interned at IDA by providing inputs on political context for the Nepal Contemporary Political Situation – VI VII VIII, opinion poll report in 2011.
Deelasha Rayamajhi is working at IDA as a researcher. She completed her Masters Degree in sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) in 2012. She has formerly interned in the Banking Sector.
Chandra K.C. is a data analysts at IDA. He is a junior statistician and his completed his Master’s degree in Statistics from Tribhuvan University in 2010 with distinction marks (T.U. Topper). He has been working in the research sector since 2011. He has been teaching Statistics for B.Sc, BBS Students and has experience in designing and implementing quantitative survey research. He has good knowledge about the research software CS-Pro, SPSS and GIS.
Pranaya Sthapit is working at IDA as a researcher since year 2013. He completed his masters in Business Administration from Old Dominion University, Virginia, United States. Furthermore, he completed his post graduation in Social Science from Nepa School of Social Science, Kathmandu, Nepal. Since joining IDA, he has been putting inputs in numerous quantitative studies conducted in the organization. Additionally, he also has good working knowledge on various software such as Cs-Pro and SPSS.
Samyam Shrestha is a researcher at IDA. He did Bachelor of Business Information System at Kathmandu University, and graduate diploma in social sciences at Nepa School of Social Sciences and Humanities. He is currently pursuing MA Anthropology at Tribhuvan University. Before joining IDA, he was involved at Nepa School of Social Sciences and Humanities as a researcher. He has also worked at many organizations and media houses.
Ashika Sharma is a researcher at IDA. She did Bachelor's in Development Studies at Kathmandu University. She is currently pursuing MA Sociology at Tribhuvan University. Before joining IDA, she was involved in Care Nepal, Fulbright (research assistant for Fulbright PhD students), FHI 360 (as a consultant), Integrated Development Center, and Care and Development Organization.
